Voice Lessons/Coaching
Marla Jones has been teaching private voice lessons for over 30 years. With a degree in voice from Northwestern University School of Music, years of extended private study with some of the top voice teachers, and years of experience working with numerous singers, Jones has developed into a highly regarded voice teacher focusing on correct vocal technique and how to apply it to various styles of music. Being a well trained musician, arranger and composer as well, she is also an excellent vocal coach. She is currently on the voice faculty at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), Los Angeles, and has a large number of private students.
Arranging/Musical Direction
In addition to Jones having a degree from Northwestern University School of Music, she attended UCLA’s extension program in film composing and has studied under some of the top arranger/composers. For years she has not only done most of her own arrangements for herself and her numerous singing groups that she has directed and produced, but also written countless charts for singers and directed and arranged music for numerous events and recording sessions.
